1991: The Army, served in the corps of engineers  as lieutenant in command of a platoon (45 sappers and 7 non-commissioned officers to command)

September 1994 - December 1994: Departmental Equipment Service of Charente- Maritime in the Great Works Service (in charge of the majority of the national and regional development projects on the territory of Charente-Maritime ). Management of road projects (Planning and co-ordination of the projects with the other local government services).

September 1995 - September 1996: Biospace Instruments, research work in a team of  physicists. Development and production of instruments involving recent breakthroughs in the field of detection and localization of ionizing radiations and adaptation of those instruments to the needs of biological researchers (digital autoradiography, in collaboration with the CEPH).
