Graded Problem Sets

Course grades will be determined by the score on the problem sets (20%), a midterm exam (40%), and a final exam (40%). On the date that they are due, the problem sets should be turned in by noon in the box outside Prof. Bruno office (211 Firestone).

Collaborative work on the problem sets is permitted, however, students are advised to work independently in a significant portion of their practice work to learn the material adequately, to develop skills, and to prepare for the exams.

Homework extensions will not be given. Instead, in computing the final course grades, the two lowest homework scores for each student will be dropped. If some circumstance prevents a significant number of problem sets from being completed, please contact .
